Who should participate?

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner does not require prior IT or cloud experience and is a great starting point for anyone who wants to achieve foundational AWS Cloud knowledge. The AWS Certification exam prep program is open to all AWS Partners.

What do I need to get started?

To prepare for the AWS Partner Certification Readiness - Cloud Practitioner kick-off session, please set up your Amazon Partner Network (APN) account using your business email. Watch this tutorial to learn how.

What should I expect each week?

Week 1 - Kick-off Session (Kick-Off Date 30th January 2024)

Attend one of our kick-off sessions - Receive an introduction to the series and get your questions answered by AWS Trainers. 45 minutes

Week 2 – Complete Training

Week 3 - Attend Revision Session 1

Review the exam, cloud concepts, security, compliance, AWS technology, billing, pricing and the AWS Well-Architected framework. 1.5 hours (registration links to be provided in the kick-off session)

Week 3 - Attend Revision Session 2

Review exam strategy, best practices, AWS labs and additional resources. 1.5 hours (registration links to be provided in the kick-off session)

Week 4 - Attend Exam Quiz Session 3 - Apply knowledge and test concepts through a series of practice exam questions. 1.5 hours (registration links to be provided in the kick-off session)

Will study sessions be recorded?

Yes, all study sessions will be available on-demand on the AWS Partner Certification Readiness – Cloud Practitioner website no more than five business days after the session ends.

Will I receive a digital badge upon passing the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam?

Yes. Please allow five-to-seven business days for your digital badge to be delivered to your Credly account. AWS Training and Certification uses Credly to deliver digital badges. Learn more about our AWS Learning Badges online.

What should I do if I receive a 403 Access Error when accessing courses in AWS Skill Builder?

Make sure that you choose to log into Skill Builder as AWS Partner and enter your APN Partner Central account information.

How do I register for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam?

To register for an exam, sign in to aws.training and click Certification in the top navigation. Next, click the AWS Certification Account button, followed by Register for an Exam. Find the exam you wish to take and click the Schedule with Pearson VUE button. You will then be redirected to the test delivery provider’s scheduling page, where you will complete your exam registration.

How much does the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam cost?

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam fee is 100 USD.

How do I share my AWS Certification achievement with my employer?

My AWS Certification account name doesn’t match my legal ID. How can I update my profile?

To change your name on your AWS Certification Account, please submit a ticket to the AWS Training and Certification Support team. Select Account Assistance as the inquiry type and Name Change as the additional details and include the requested information in the description. If needed, our Support team will request documentation to process the edit. Once all necessary information is submitted, please allow up to two days for the change to be processed.
